Romance is a 2003 1D Barrel and Pole Mare out of Frenchmans Goldcharm and Special Romance. As a futurity horse, she was the Fizz Bomb Futurity Pole Bending Champion and All-Around Horse. Since then, Romance has qualified for the National High School Finals Rodeo in both poles and barrels, qualified for the Minnesota High School Finals Rodeo in both barrels and poles, and qualified for the South Dakota State Finals Rodeo in poles 2014. She finished 9th in South Dakota for pole bending last year. Out of 18 runs in poles during the summer, 16 were clean runs with a new rider. Anyone can ride this horse. Shes perfect for someone wanting to be competitive in barrels or poles at almost any age. She is extremely broke and runs both barrels and poles in a hackamore. She has never tipped a barrel in competition and doesnt want to tip a barrel. Romance has run at the Minnesota NBHA Finals in and is consistent 1D. She requires minimal upkeep (only had her hocks injected once). We are only selling her because I am currently in college and do not have the time or place to keep her.
