If you're looking for a smooth ride, you don't want to miss out on meeting this gaited boy!! NASH is a 6 yr. old gelding... what a sweetheart!! He's friendly, interested, aware and ready to go into any venue. He's a 'green' horse, so I will recommend that someone with experience finish him the way they want to go. He's not spooky and has good sense. I have done a lot of groundwork with him (including ground driving) and he stops, turns and starts well. I have ridden him and he is a SWEET RIDE... smooth. I have had 2 other people on him as well. So far, I have had him in a 'soft' hackamore... (I can show you). He doesn't need a bit, but I'm sure he could get used to one. He leads amazingly well and stands in halter, tied or in hand, without bothering those around him. He stands still when you mount and dismount.
He loads into a 2 horse straight like a dream. The farrier says he's an awesome boy with a good brain and said that he has really nice feet and should be able to go barefoot, no problem. He doesn't kick, bite nor does he have any other bad habits. He's easy to catch, in fact, he will catch YOU in order to get to go. I call him the pup because he is so interested in everything you do with him.
He is sound in every way... he has 2 of the most gorgeous big blue eyes you will ever see. He is a nice boy... inside and out. I know he will bond with someone who will continue his training. He's eager to learn.
