What this little mare lacks in height, she makes up for in heart! Scarlett is BOMB PROOF- so bomb proof if you fall off she stands and waits for you to get back on! She's a sweetheart with a lot of try! Scarlett is one of those horses you can leave in a pasture for three months then hop on bareback and have ZERO issues. She has scars on her neck and her hindquarters from being attacked by a Rottweiler when she was a foal (hence her name SCAR-lett) but even so NOTHING scares this mare, she's quite the little fighter! She's great with dogs, stands quietly for farrier, clips, ties, shoes(though she doesn't require them), trailers, is completely sound, you name it! I've never had an issue with her in six years. This little sweetheart will go anywhere with you! Scarlett aims to please, she'll do anything you ask! She is GREAT with kids! I bought her from my trainer where she was a children's lesson horse so this mare has had TONS of young children on her back. She's incredibly gentle and easy going, but when an experienced rider hops on her she has all the get up and go you could want. She has gone to CGA state finals and taken home two 1st place gold buckles for the AA division and hits AAA now and then. She also runs barrels like a champ. Put her in the arena and let her go, she knows her job! She also shows great promise with cattle, she's been used to heard and sort cows and calves on our ranch. I can't say enough about this mare. She's overall an athletic, strong, sweet little girl who will give you the world and more just for your love! Would do amazing with children who want a horse to grow with from beginner to advanced, or any advanced rider as well.
